Photographer Ash Daniel has been documenting Richmond, Virginia as a photojournalist for the past 20 years.

He has a BFA in photography from Virginia Commonwealth University and has received two Virginia Museum of Fine Arts fellowships for his work, both as a student and a professional. His work has appeared in numerous publications and gallery exhibits. He has won more than 25 awards from the Virginia Press Association and the Virginia News Photographers Association.
